Buy A DSLR Camera And Take Better Photographs
DSLR cameras have brought high quality photography gear to average people. Of course a high quality camera is only one part of what you need to take truly great pictures. You also have to understand exactly how to use your camera and that can be a bit more confusing with a DSLR than with a consumer quality point and click.
I believe far more important than understanding the technicalities of how to use your camera is having an artistic eye. A great sense of what will make a good photograph. From personal experience I can recommend the Canon Rebel XTi DSLR. It\’s a great Digital SLR camera that has worked great for me without any problems for approximately two years now. It is also rather cheap by the cost standards of professional quality cameras. But you should know that those standards are rather high, it is about $750 even without a lens!
When you learn more about high quality cameras you will find that the lens is very important. If your experience comes mostly from point and clicks you are most likely used to thinking that the megapixel count is the most important thing but that\’s not true with DSLRs at all.
With DSLRs, the lens is what makes the biggest difference in the quality of the pictures. Truthfully the subject of lenses is too deep for me to cover in this article, I simply want to make sure you are aware of the importance of lenses and that if you want to get really serious about photography you will need to look into the subject deeply.
