Can i hook up my sony cybershot camera to my computer and record movie that way?

I want to record directly to my computer using my sony cybershot camera. Is it possible to do this? (if this doesnt make sense, i want it to be kind of like a webcam)

   Yes. Check out your manual for detailed instructions depending on what type of computer you have (Mac/PC). You may not be able to stream live like a webcam, but you should be able to record video using the sony software.
